“Brotherly Conduct” • 1st Samuel 24 – Brother Jonah Lowrance Continuing in his historical account of the life of David, Brother Jonah teaches how fellow children of God should treat one another. In particular, obedient disciples should continue to love and show compassion toward those fellow children of God who are not following the will of God.
“Cherubim and The Mercy Seat” • Hebrews 9:5 – Elder Bryce Lowrance Part of understanding how Jesus is a better tabernacle than the one Moses built is to see how all of the elements and ceremonies in the old tabernacle pointed toward the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. In this sermon, Elder Bryce shows the wonders of the omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence of God represented in the Cherubim over the ark. One of the most amazing things to see in this image is that all the power of God looks at the mercy seat for justification. This image shows that God sees salvation complete in His Son. Our hope is in the finished work of Jesus Chris plus nothing.
