“Moses on the Backside of the Desert” • Hebrews 11:26-27; Exodus 3-5 – Elder Bryce Lowrance. Between Moses’ decision of faith in Hebrews 11:26 and his courageously delivering Israel from Egyptian bondage in verse 27, Moses had a lot of growth in grace and faith that needed to happen so that he could be the proper instrument of God’s deliverance. Moses’ zeal got ahead of God’s timing when he killed the Egyptian and had to flee to Midian. While there, Moses learns patience, obedience, and how to trust the promises of God. These lesson prepared him to lead Israel to the promised land.
